'Coffee with A Purpose' began as a reason for me to get together with friends when I had small children. It started as a 'purpose' to connect with others and socialise yet learn something at the same time. When my children were small it was often simply that we wanted to let our children play and not feel the isolation of having small children and have coffee and cake whilst we did it ...
As my own curiosity into wellbeing developed, it grew into wanting to help others learn how to stay well from cell to soul and just as importantly learn how they can ensure their children and childrens children stay well in mind and in body and reach their own full potential.
Today, the programmes are designed to work over a period of time, sometimes up to 12 months but always at least 3 months. Together we will help you learn how you can stay connected in mind body and spirit, know you are enough just as you are as well as giving you the knowledge to help those you love live their own lives to the full too. And if you have children teach you to trust how you can make sure they are both resilient and reach their own full potential. We will also make sure you know how and where to get any additional support you need for you and your family be that emotional and/or physical.
Wellbeing is not about the absence of 'dis-ease' but the connection of the mind, body and soul and ensuring that all areas of your life are in balance (health,friends,money, love, fun ... ) Our goal is for you to be the best version of you so you teach your children and those you love to do the same, no matter what age you or they are and no matter what the starting point. Age is just a number and change is constant, growth is always optional. You might want to achieve your ultimate fitness potential, shift your perception on your career, find your way through trauma or simply know how to live well and stay well for longer.
We start with an initial session session which really gets to the root of what change you need and gets you onto our 3 month edutherapy programme which will have you sleeping well and waking up rested. And then we have four programmes to choose from so you can really achieve your potential in the area of your life you are looking to improve
We generally choose to work on a one to one basis but we can arrange for group programmes too. So let us know if that is what you would prefer
Each programme is unique to you and will help you understand as well as resolve whatever is holding you back, simply by being curious, honest with yourself and open to solutions that work for your lifestyle, no matter what your starting point. Our specialty is regulating the central nervous system and enabling you to live the life you love whatever that looks and feels like to you: We will be using a mixture of Mindfulness, CBT and Edutherapy as well as your own 'intuition' to help you gain the clarity and focus you need to achieve your optimum state in all areas of your life.
Once we have done one initial session we then move to a session once a month when you will ask us a question that is bothering you about your 'wellbeing' around a topic we give you in advance and once we have your particular slant on it we will then have a one on one session to identify what changes you need to implement into your life the following four weeks. They will never take up more than 40 minutes of your time and can be done either in person on via something like Skype. At the end of each session we will set your intention for the following 4 weeks. During our work together you will learn to accept where you are and allow what will be, whilst learning to also hold yourself accountable to change.
At the end of your time with us not only will you understand more about yourself and how your body and your mind responds to your lifestyle, but you will also know who to reach out to for help when you need it, be that physical or emotional, and what works for you, your lifestyle and your budget. You will also feel supported and heard.
Your health is your wealth and whilst true wellbeing is not 'free' there is so much more out there now to help you maintain it and prevent 'dis-ease' and have your cake and eat it, whatever that looks like to you.
Prevention is far better than cure and and we believe we can enable you to life life to the full and sleep well at night and wake up rested.
Our goal is to teach you to do this naturally and just like a muscle work it to your advantage.

Nothing really changes over night but over a period of time our programme has helped many people understand themselves, their bodies and what steps they need to take to stay healthy for longer. It has also had a measurable impact on their ability to find clarity on their why and focus, which in turn give's you a much better chance of being resilient through periods of stress and/or trauma. Living your own life well is always the best way to help others do the same and our programme will enable you to stay focused, achieve your potential and stay well in mind and body.
Yes we do believe you can have your cake and eat it.
We believe that regaining and sustaining our wellbeing balance requires compassion with ourselves and often it takes time to unravel the onion layers. We are also of the opinion that our health is not free and it requires our openness to constantly evolve and grow in order that we can stay healthy for longer and it is always a much bigger topic than just diet and exercise.
We trust this programme allows you to both do your research about what is out there and have the confidence that when you need it, both the right people and tools are right at your finger tips and within your budget. What we also trust is that you will also learn more about how you can help yourself maintain your health and wellbeing naturally for longer.
All of the therapists and coaches we work with practice ‘functional medicine’ and topics vary from nutrition to skin conditions, to back problems, sleep and learning to be more resilient and trusting of life.
Everything we work with involves Functional Medicine so you will need to be willing to let go of therapy being all about talking therapies ... some of it is physical and some of it is emotional but all of it connects the mind and body and much of it is around belief systems as opposed to diet and exercise, although they play an important part in the gut,brain connection.
After an inital session with us which includes a wellbeing box with things to help you along your road ... For £46 a month we will provide you with the knowledge about what you need in your life so that you can both gain balance with your health and wellbeing and live life to the full. We invoice you monthly and you can cancel at any time.
