I have recently been trying a new way of eating, one that involves me only eating between the hours of 11am and 8pm and I have done it to see if I am hungrier or if I am naturally eating less. I have also added having a glass of water with apple cider vinegar in once a day. I would not say I was on a diet but I am conscious that at around 7pm I was reaching for ‘snacks’ whilst waiting for my husband to get home and rather than reaching for a glass of wine I thought I would try this instead.
What I have noticed is that when I do eat at 11am I am actually hungry and what I have noticed is that I never have that 3pm slump ( I did’nt have them often but I did have them). I have also noticed that as I became conscious about my 7pm habit and listened to what it was actually about I stopped doing it and distracted myself really easily.
So perhaps fasting is or is not good for you .. but what is always good for you is being curious enough to question what is and is not working for you.
