This is a pretty shocking letter from a doctor within our NHS service and seems to be common theme from doctors. I cannot comment about the salaries because it is always relative but I can observe about what pressure is put upon them to work long hours under very stressful circumstances. There is an element that this is what they signed up for but there is also an element that the NHS just is not coping with the amount of people that now have ‘dis-ease’.
Our health really is in our hands and we need to start taking responsibility for it so that doctors like this do not give up on the professional they began being passionate about and they are there to save people’s lives when we really do need it.
